So 5 people died yesterday. Timothy Evans, George Gregory, Ian Gunderson, Alexander Lyndon and Betty Michaels. Which leaves one police officer alive. Obviously suspicion fell immediately upon me. Of course as the criminal I'd want the cops dead. We all met up and almost immediately the remaining cop Diana Reed, told everyone that I had to be one of the killers. She then informed them more specifically of the crime I was accused of. I was being taken into custody after I had been found at the scene of a murder. I was quick to speak up. See I had been found at the scene of the crime with various severe injuries, but I had been holding the murder weapon. The cops hadn't fully been able to piece together what happened. How had I murdered this person and then gotten these injuries and so I told my story right there.
"I was a friend of the victim. Come into town to visit, when I had come upon the murder scene. The real murderer was still there. It was a man, wearing a strange mask. At the sight of my murdered friend I had attacked him and we fought for a while, I got the weapon away from him, but I was severely injured and I tried to flee and get help which is when the cops found me. As for killing the cops. There are 5 killers here can anyone give any reason why they wouldn't go after the cops first? Personal vendetta likely had nothing to do with it. I've never killed anyone and I never will," I told them. Diana and a few others seemed skeptical, but most of them seemed to be at least slightly doubtful of my guilt. Except one man. I only know the people by name, so I don't know which one he was, but he was staring at me with pure hatred. He stepped forward.
"You're a liar. You murdered those people," he announced and his voice struck me as familiar. I looked him over. He didn't have the mask, but it was definitely him.
"You! You're the murderer! You came here to try and finish me off didn't you!" I accused and his eyes narrowed.
"You lying ass. I'm not the murderer. You are, but I was the one who kicked your ass and I'll do it again!" he yelled and tried to leap at me. Diana stepped into his path and caught his hand flipping him and slamming him to the ground. He let out a grunt and tried to get up, but she stepped on his throat.
"We will not have you two fighting during these meetings. When and if we decide to kill one of you, then we will have violence. I'm taking charge of this meeting. Anyone got a problem with that," she announced. Nobody did.
"Alright. So, one of you murdered those people and as much as I don't like either of you, we can't risk killing an innocent especially our narrator, so for now, both of you are safe. If we're lucky this problem will solve itself during the night anyway. We'll keep from killing anyone just yet. Hopefully tomorrow we'll have more to go on. Oh and in case anyone is worried about me dying tonight. I'm not worried. I'll be fine and tomorrow we'll definitely have more to go on," she explained. Nothing else of much interest happened. I hope that murderer doesn't come after me tonight. Though I guess if he does he'll prove his guilt to the others. So... I should be safe...
